Who is Uncle David?
A sudden silence fell between the man and the little girl. In fact, there had never been an Uncle David in his family. He didn’t know anyone with that name. The man wondered who this David was and why he was with his wife. He then said to the little girl, “But darling, you don’t have an Uncle David.” To which she replied, “Yes, you do, he’s in the room with Mommy!” The man then had an idea to find out if his wife was cheating on him. He explained to the little girl what she should do.

The man wanted to know if his wife was cheating on him.
He told the little girl, “Okay, fine, here’s what I want you to do: put down the phone, run upstairs, knock on the bedroom door, and shout to Mom and Uncle David that Dad’s car just pulled into the garage…” The girl agreed, then went upstairs to get her mother and Uncle David’s attention. The man waited on the other end of the line to see what would happen. A few seconds later, the child came back. “I did what you told me, Dad,” she said. The man then asked her how her mother reacted.

desperately wanted to speak to his wife to ask her something. He wasn’t home. So he picked up his phone and dialed a number to reach her. After a few seconds, someone answered. It was a little girl. The father then asked her, “Hello, sweetheart, it’s Dad on the phone… Can you put Mom on?” At that moment, the little girl made a revelation he wasn’t expecting. She told him, “I can’t, she’s upstairs in her room with Uncle David.”
