Joke of the day: Mom and Uncle David

Who is Uncle David?
A sudden silence fell between the man and the little girl. In fact, there had never been an Uncle David in his family. He didn’t know anyone with that name. The man wondered who this David was and why he was with his wife. He then said to the little girl, “But darling, you don’t have an Uncle David.” To which she replied, “Yes, you do, he’s in the room with Mommy!” The man then had an idea to find out if his wife was cheating on him. He explained to the little girl what she should do.

The man wanted to know if his wife was cheating on him.
He told the little girl, “Okay, fine, here’s what I want you to do: put down the phone, run upstairs, knock on the bedroom door, and shout to Mom and Uncle David that Dad’s car just pulled into the garage…” The girl agreed, then went upstairs to get her mother and Uncle David’s attention. The man waited on the other end of the line to see what would happen. A few seconds later, the child came back. “I did what you told me, Dad,” she said. The man then asked her how her mother reacted.
A morbid ending.
The little girl then made a shocking revelation. She confided, “Well, Mommy started screaming, jumped out of bed completely naked, started running around, slipped on the rug, fell out the window, and now she’s completely dead.” The man on the other end of the line was shocked to learn that his wife had just killed herself. He also asked the little girl what Uncle David had done. She replied, “Well, he jumped out of bed completely naked, started running around, then he jumped out the back window into the pool… But he forgot that last weekend you drained the pool to clean it, and now he’s completely dead too…”
