Add beef broth, thyme, salt, and pepper. Stir to combine and cook for another 5 minutes until the broth reduces slightly. Remove from heat and set aside.
2. Make the Meatloaf:
In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, egg, bread crumbs, chopped onion, milk, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, thyme, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
Form the meat mixture into a loaf shape that will fit comfortably in your Crockpot.
3. Cook the Meatloaf in the Crockpot:
Place the meatloaf into the Crockpot. Pour the prepared French onion mixture over the top of the meatloaf.
Cover and cook on low for 4-6 hours or on high for 2-3 hours, until the meatloaf is cooked through (internal temperature should reach 160°F/71°C).
