Your type of blood is not alone with a label: 5 hidden tracks so you are safe
Let’s begin by identifying the four blood types we can have. A, AB, B, and O are the four main types. Type AB is the least common, while type O is the most common. Here are five interesting health facts your blood type can reveal:
1: Stomach
cancer
Studies show that people with blood types A and AB have a higher risk of developing stomach cancer compared to those with blood types B and O.
According to researchers, people with blood types A and AB have a stronger immune response to the H. pylori bacteria. Because of this response, people with blood type AB are 26% more likely to develop stomach cancer, while people with blood type A are 20% more likely to develop it.
2: Heart Attack
(Myocardial Infarction)
Few people know that one of the easiest ways to predict the likelihood of having a heart attack is to analyze family history. That’s right; those with relatives who have suffered a heart attack have a much higher probability of suffering one themselves. Another way to calculate the probability is to analyze blood type. According to the European Society of Cardiology, people with a blood type other than O have a 9% higher risk of suffering a heart attack.
3: Ulcers
