The Cuban Institute of Basic Brain Research conducted a study with 206 hypertensive patients. The results showed that 81.07% of them suffered from sleep disorders, while only 18.9% reported normal sleep. The most common problems were insomnia and snoring, both with a prevalence of 57.7%.
