Magnesium chloride can be purchased in pharmacies or specialty stores, usually packaged in sachets or bottles. The recommended dosage: two tablespoons diluted in a glass of water upon waking. As for the flavor, it must be admitted that it has a slightly harsh side… But a squeeze of fresh lemon can soften things up.
A word of caution, however, is in order: like all good things, moderation is key. One to two weeks of treatment, repeated a few times a year, is generally sufficient. In the case of a specific medical condition, professional advice is always recommended.
A boost, not a miracle solution
Don’t count on this morning ritual to compensate for an unbalanced diet, a too static lifestyle, or shortened nights. On the other hand, it can really give you a serious boost during phases of intense fatigue, occasional depression, or the change of seasons.
