Powerful allies: aloe vera and vitamin E
Aloe vera, as we know, is essential for hydrating, calming inflammation, and stimulating cell regeneration. As for vitamin E, it acts as a powerful antioxidant, protecting the skin from premature aging.
How to make your homemade night gel?
Required ingredients:
60 g flax seeds
500 ml water
3 tablespoons aloe vera gel (fresh or store-bought)
1 teaspoon vitamin E oil
Optional: a few drops of essential oils (lavender, tea tree, etc.)
Preparation:
Boil the flaxseeds
Combine the flaxseeds and water in a saucepan. Bring to a boil, then simmer for 10 to 15 minutes, stirring regularly. The mixture will gradually become gelatinous.
Strain the gel.
When you reach the desired consistency, remove from the heat and let it cool. Strain using a fine sieve or a clean cloth to remove only the gelatinous portion.
Add aloe vera and vitamin E.
Once the gel has reached room temperature, stir in the aloe vera gel and vitamin E oil. Mix thoroughly with a spoon or whisk until smooth.
Customize Your Treatment
For a relaxing or cleansing effect, add 2 to 3 drops of lavender or tea tree essential oil. Note: these oils are potent, nothing more!
