Kamitetep: The moth that clings to walls and what you should know

 Characteristics of the “Kamitetep” moth

These moths are usually small to medium in size, with wings that can vary in shades of brown, gray, or yellowish. Not all of them are harmful, but some can damage clothing, food, and even books.

Main features:

1. Size:  Between 0.5 and 2 cm.
2. Color:  Generally brown or grayish, which allows them to camouflage themselves.
3. Activity:  Mainly nocturnal, attracted to artificial light.
4. Diet:  It depends on the species; some eat textile fibers, others grains or organic remains.
