Cheesy garlic breadsticks

Ingredients:
1 batch pizza dough (store-bought or homemade, enough for about 12 breadsticks)
3 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning (or a mix of oregano, basil, thyme)
Salt, to taste
Fresh parsley, chopped (optional, for garnish)
Instructions:
Preheat oven: to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.

Prepare dough: Roll out the pizza dough into a rectangle about 12×8 inches on a floured surface.

Add garlic butter: In a small bowl, mix melted butter and minced garlic. Brush the garlic butter evenly over the dough.

Add cheese and seasoning: Sprinkle shredded mozzarella and Parmesan cheese evenly over the dough. Then sprinkle the Italian seasoning and a pinch of salt on top.

Cut breadsticks: Using a pizza cutter or sharp knife, cut the dough into 12 strips (about 1 inch wide).

Bake: Transfer the strips to the prepared baking sheet, leaving a little space between each. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the breadsticks are golden and the cheese is melted and bubbly.

Garnish and serve: Remove from oven and sprinkle with chopped fresh parsley if desired. Serve warm with marinara sauce or your favorite dipping sauce.
